About the Event

The VCPA Lecture Series "Actors, Artists, & Authors" at the Linderman Cabin at Robber's Roost presents:

A History of Laughter: Actors, Theater, & Entertainment in Virginia City, Montana presented by Christina Koch

Christina Koch moved to Virginia City in 2010. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater Performance and a Master's of Information and Library Science. Christina and her husband, Bill Koch, have operated the Virginia City Players at the Opera House in Virginia City for 12 seasons this year. She also works as the Assistant Librarian at the Thompson-Hickman Madison County Library in Virginia City. In 2019 she started a Children's Drama Club program sponsored by the Friends of the Library and that program has grown to include a Teen Drama Club as well. She has learned a lot of interesting information about the history of entertainment in Virginia City, while working with the Dick Pace Archives in the library and running the Players for 12 seasons, and she is excited to share that information with you at her program, "A History of Laughter: Actors, Theater, & Entertainment in Virginia City, Montana" sponsored by the Virginia City Preservation Alliance.
